John was once again a featured Iowa Artist at the MidWest Art Fest in Des Moines, Iowa in late June.The Midwest Art Fest is held in the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fair grounds in Des Moines. We enjoy doing a late June show in an air-conditioned building. We don't do many indoor shows but this is an exception because of the value Sue Stookey puts on demonstrating craftsmen. There are hundreds of outstanding artists and artisans at this show and the regular fair concessions are open. Yum! How about a bucket of cookies!!??!!
Obviously, there are fun activities for kids, also, like face-painting.
