John was pleased and proud to win an Award of Excellence again this year. It was fun to see that everyone in the Old Christ Church row won an award, also: John's woodenware, French hand sewing and tatting, dulcimers, and hand made rocking chairs...well deserved, all.
The Heritage Artisans are a fun bunch of people and we are proud to call many of them friends.
As always, it's a pleasure to teach someone
about the skill of woodcarvingand watching John seems to be a treat for the crowd as well.
Seeing young people buying a spoon to take home and use to learn the skills involved in cooking is always fun!
